Gastrointestinal symptoms in COVID-19 patients

Background/Aim. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a global threat and huge problem for our community. There are so many open questions. The aim of this study was to establish the frequency gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms in hospitalized patients with infection caused by virus (coronavirus disease-19 ?COVID-19), but also compare if GI have higher computed tomography (CT) scan severity score interstitial pneumonia (IP) compared COVID-19 without symptoms. Methods. Our database comprised 322 who were divided into two groups, All information taken from anamnestic data patients? history, followed statistical analysis. Results. Thorax CT scans 206 (63.9%) described as bilateral IP, which 76 (36.9%) radiologists peak infection. Moreover, 130 (40.4%) had symptoms, even 58 out (44.6%) reported first manifestation most commonly one lack appetite (73 or 56.15%).
